POLICIES, PROCEDURES, & GUIDELINES:
Prior to participating, participants should review the SCGA’s Policies & Procedures.
STRACKALINE YARDAGE BOOKLET:
The SCGA and StrackaLine have teamed up to allow our participants the availability to purchase StrakaLine Yardage & Green booklets at a 20% discount. Click here to purchase your StrackaLine Booklet. All booklets conform to the Rules of Golf and may be used in tournament play.
FORMAT:
- All players on teams will participate in a 36-hole foursomes stroke-play championship (18 holes each day).
- 56 sides will compete in this championship (22 sides in the Open division, 34 sides in the Senior division).
- During each round, partners must play alternately from the teeing areas (i.e. Player A must tee off on the odd holes, and Player B must tee off on all the even holes). Players may reverse this order on the second day of play; however, they are not required to do so.
- Awards will be given to those who finish in 1st through 5th place in each division. In the event of a tie for first place in either division, there will be a hole-by-hole playoff immediately following the conclusion of regular play.
REGISTRATION:
Prior to play for Round 1, all teams must register at the SCGA table at the entrance from the parking lot. Registration will begin at 6 a.m. There will not be a formal registration area for Round 2. Teams should be ready to play at their assigned tee.
PRACTICE ROUNDS:
- Players may schedule a practice round at their own expense. To book a practice round, call the golf shop at (626) 810-4653 or book online at ihgolfclub.com. Times are based on availability. Standard rates apply.
- Practice rounds are a privilege, not a right. The SCGA works with a variety of facilities throughout the course of the year, all of which have unique policies and procedures when it comes to practice rounds. These opportunities will be provided at the sole discretion of the host facility.
- We are guests and must follow all facility policies and guidelines when on property. Behavior during practice rounds will be subject to the SCGA Code of Conduct.
STARTING TIMES AND PAIRINGS:
- Starting times and pairings will be e-mailed to players and posted online at scga.org one week in advance of the championship.
- Starting times will range from 8 – 9:30 a.m. utilizing a #1 and #10 tee start.
- Lead groups should plan to be at their assigned tee 10 minutes in advance of their starting time. Subsequent groups are encouraged to arrive once the preceding group has teed off. Players arriving late will be penalized under Rule 5.3a of the Rules of Golf. For example, the 9:00 a.m. starting time is defined as 9:00:00, and players arriving after that time are considered late.

All yardages and course information can be found in the Yardage Information tab located on the Championship Portal.
